When dieting and exercising, one of the best ways to see your weight loss improvements is to weigh yourself regularly and record your progress. Do not be discouraged in the beginning and do not weigh every day. Here are a few tips to follow to help keep track of your progress.

When weighing yourself it is best to weigh on a weekly basis. Weighing your self on a daily basis is not a good idea. Some people tend to have fluid that their body retains. Remember 1 gallon of water equals 8 pounds.

  • Weigh yourself once a week
  • Weigh yourself in the morning
  • Weigh yourself on the same day of the week
  • Record your progress
